Leelee Sobieski is an actress of film American descent frank – Polish. His father Jean is a painter and his mother Elisabeth writer. She spent her childhood between New York and France and currently lives in Los Angeles. Sobieski was discovered in a “casting” which took place at his school in New York. Since then has appeared in advertising, television and film.
He has portrayed Joan of Arc in a two-part TV series of 1999, a role which earned him awards Young Star Award and Young Hollywood Award. She was nominated in 1999 for an Emmy and in 2000 for the Golden Globe. He was also nominated for Teen Choice Award 2000 for the film “Here on Herat” and again in 2002 Golden Globe for “Uprising”.
