Katrina Darrell – Sexy American Idol contestant

Katrina Darrell auditioned for American Idol (Season in Phoenix Arizona… in her bikini! Awesome. Katrina made it all the way to the group round, when she was kicked off for a lack of work ethic. Simon noted however that there is probably a future for her in the business.

For her American Idol audition, Darrell sang her version of the Mariah Carey song “Vision of Love.” Idol’s newest judge, Kara DioGuardi, said, “Honestly, you don’t have the chops to sing that song sweetie, you’re a beautiful girl and that was a big song.” Darrell piped back with “your demonstration wasn’t any better,” causing the second female judge Paula Abdul to stand up and tell Darrell “that was not the right thing to say.” Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell both voted yes for Darrell to go to Hollywood after they picked their jaws up off the floor, and Abdul welcomed her to the next round.
