Leighton Meester – Actress American and an aspiring singer and songwriter

Leighton Marissa Claire Meester is an actress American and an aspiring singer and songwriter, best known for her role as Blair Waldorf in the TV show Gossip Girl.  His first appearance in a program TV was in the legal drama from NBC, Law & Order in 1999. Other series in which Meester has acted include Surface, Entourage, CSI: Miami, 8 Simple Rules, 24, 7th Heaven, and House.

In April 2009 it was announced that Meester had signed a recording contract with Universal Republic. The album is said to be electronic and dance, you will be working with JR Rotem, Kara DioGuardi and several other producers. The first single will be released around July, with the album launch in the fall. Meester collaborated with the band Cobra Starship with the single “Good Girls Go Bad” which is the first single from the band of his next studio album Hot Mess.
